Koike Aronson has been a member of the World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara (WTCBN) since 1991. At that time, it was called the International Trade Council, but their name officially changed to the World Trade Center in 2001.

The WTCBN is a non-profit organization that shows manufacturers and service companies how to grow their business by taking advantage of foreign trade opportunities.  They offer an array of services, some of which Koike has taken advantage of through its years of membership.

Our President, Gerald Leary, has been on the Board of Directors for the WTCBN since 2007. He served as Chairman from 2009 - 2011.

Koike has also been involved in one of the WTCBN biggest events--their Celebration.  We have been an active sponsor since 2007. The Celebrations have yearly theme which they cater toward manufacturing and service companies in our region.

This year, the Celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 20. The 2015 theme is Sustainability, Transforming International Trade.  The day is full of activities, including a lunch panel, breakout sessions consisting of Supply chain management and Resource Management, and creating a sustainability plan. The panels consist of local companies and service companies sharing their expertise on each topic.  A networking reception along with the main event, a keynote presentation with Art Ghose, CEO of Curbell Inc. and William Thomas, Global HTS Sustainability of HSBC Bank Plc., will also take place. The evening ends with a trade expo and more networking opportunities.

Not only is Koike Aronson is a proud sponsor, but we will have a booth at the networking reception.  The WTCBN has helped us with International Trade in many ways.  We encourage you to attend the Celebration on May 20 at the Conference and Event Center in Niagara Falls.  If you are interested, if you need more information, or if you want to register, visit www.wtcb.com/events/.
