Types of CNC Cutting Machines
Gantry CNC Cutting Machines
Gantry CNC machines are ideal for fabricators who handle large-scale projects. These machines typically feature a larger cutting table up to 24’ wide. They can also accommodate cutting lengths of up to 100’—sometimes more. Gantry machines are best for high production sheet processing applications like steel servicers, heavy equipment manufacturing, shipbuilders, and more.
Unitized CNC Cutting Machines
Unitized CNC machines are better suited for smaller part production, or shops working with limited floor space. Unitized machines feature a max work area width of 6’ and max cutting length of 20’. While smaller in size compared to gantry machines, unitized machines still deliver on power with the ability to cut materials up to 2” thick.
