The Koike MD series Power Elevating Head and Tailstock (MD-HTS-PE) is a compact and efficient welding solution, adhering to Koike's high standards, offering exceptional performance and durability. This model features a high-capacity system that ensures precise control over the entire elevation range, making it reliable for various shop sizes. Additionally, it can mimic a lathe by allowing precise rotation along the horizontal axis; this function enhances welding quality while also reducing production and handling expenses.

Linear Guideway Navigation
High capacity precision guidance throughout the entire elevation range.
AC Variable Frequency Drives
Both axes are electrically driven, with standard features including variable-speed rotation and constant-speed elevation.
Included Mounting Table
Fabricated table with mounting slots and 500 Amp sliding weld ground shoe included as a standard.
Intelligent Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
Internal PLC monitors operation to detect faults and over-travel limits with the help of an open-loop* Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), ensuring alignment is maintained under varying loads with an impressive accuracy of +/- 0.580” per 1,000 inches of travel (700 start/stop cycles).
*An optional closed-loop system is available for tighter control.
